APO-SNP-Supply Network Planning

Demand Planning and SNP form the two major planning modules in APO offering the complete functionality related to managing the Demand and supply and implementing an effective S&OP process for an organization.

This training course will help the participants to understand the concepts of the DP and SNP and introduce them to the real life business scenarios wherein they can utilize these tools for implementing the functionality for the client.


About the Course

​This course will cover all the major theoretical concepts, design of the system, building up of a model, configuration and testing of the model. It is aimed at the participants who are looking for switching their career as APO consultants.


Duration

  • 30 Hours (3-4 Weekends - Saturday's and Sundays - 5 hours each day)

  • Overview of Supply Planning Concept and the S&OP Process
  • Design of supply chain network
  • Master data for the SNP - Products, Locations, Resources, PDS/PPM, Transportation lanes etc.
  • CIF Core Interface: Introduction to Architecture of Integration between ECC and APO.
  • Master Data and Transaction data Integration with ECC/R/3 systems.
    • Configuration of Business system groups, Queues etc.
    • Definition of Integration models, activation of integration models.
    • Monitoring Queues and handling errors.
  • Supply Planning methods - Heuristics, Optimization & CTM - Concepts, process and configuration.
  • Safety Stock planning
  • Deployment/Shipment planning, Network planning in APO. Creation of Stock transfer requisitions, conversion of STR to STO etc.
  • Transport Load Builder / Truck load building process.
  • Releasing Supply Plans to DP, PPDS, ECC
  • Alerts and Exceptions processing in SNP.
