Demand Planning is the major planning modules in APO offering the complete functionality related to capturing and managing the Demand using the start of the art forecasting, integration and collaboration solutions offering flexible functionality and high performance.

Demand planning is High Level Planning in the Organization to ascertain the requirements for the products and services in the future. This high level plan enables the organization to integrate its Manufacturing and supply chain and align them with high level organizational goals.

Demand planning provides a rational way of looking towards the future based upon the unique organizational constraints and the environment in which it is operating in. The overall objective of the demand planning is achieving a consensus demand plan acceptable to the various departments. This plan can then be used to drive all the down-stream planning like Procurement planning, Production planning, Resource planning, Capacity Planning, Manpower planning, inventory planning etc.

About the Course

​This course will cover all the major theoretical concepts, design of the system, building up of a model, configuration and testing of the model. It is aimed at the participants who are looking for switching their career as APO consultants.

• 30 Hours (3-4 Weekends - Saturday's and Sundays - 5 hours each day)

• Configuration Settings for the demand planning for implementing the planning model - Design of History cubes, Planning object structures, Planning area , Planning Books, Storage bucket profiles, Key-figures etc.
• Design and development of Advanced Macros
• Interactive Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Statistical toolbox for Forecasting, Promotions Planning and Life Cycle Planning ( Phase-in/Phase-Out/Like Modeling)
• Mass Processing in APO
• Release of Forecast/Demand Plans from DP to SNP and ECC for downstream planning.
• Exception Processing and Alert Generation
